These Terms of Service govern your use of Hit the Road Dude AI at https://hit-the-road-dude.com. By using the service you agree to them.

The Service

Hit the Road Dude AI lets you upload a photo of a pet or a person and generate a short video in the style of the viral Hit the Road Dude meme, using AI video editing that puts the subject of your photo in the driver's seat of the original clip. Hit the Road Dude AI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the creator of the original TikTok (@bird28thegr8), anyone shown in it, or TikTok.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Hit the Road Dude AI. You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it.

What You May Upload

You may only upload photos that you own or have permission to use, such as photos of your own pets or of yourself. If a photo shows another person, you must have their consent to put them in a video. You must not upload photos of minors without a parent's or guardian's consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hit the Road Dude AI to:

• impersonate any person, including the man in the original clip, or pass off a video as real footage of them;
• create sexual, violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful content;
• mislead people, commit fraud or spread disinformation;
• infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
• attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

We may remove content, block generations or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your Content

You keep the rights you have in the photos you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to provide the service to you. Subject to these Terms and to the rights of others, you may use the videos you generate, including posting them on social platforms. Please label them as AI-generated where required.

AI Output

AI results can vary. We do not guarantee that a video will be accurate, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, and you are responsible for reviewing it before you share it.

Credits and Payments

Some features may require credits or a paid plan. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by a third-party provider. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase, payments are non-refundable; if a generation fails because of a fault on our side, the credits used will be returned.

Termination

You may stop using Hit the Road Dude AI at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

Disclaimers and Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continuing to use Hit the Road Dude AI after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
